A lead is any person who indicates interest in a company’s product or service in some way, shape, or form. It can be an individual or organization with a potential need for your service or product. Lead is just a business term to indicate a customer, but you are a valuable human being who is giving your valuable presence in the world.

Prospect:

A prospect is an individual or organization that is a possible customer to buy your product and has gone through a qualification process. A prospect who is interested will engage with you consistently, while a suspect will only engage with you as long as it’s safe. While suspects are the wider universe of potential customers, prospects are auxiliary along the pipeline. They have manifested some strong indicators that they are interested in buying the product and they’re willing to share personal information such as their calling cards.

LEAD:

Prospects go to the final level, becoming a capable lead, on their own deal by answering to your “call to action,” such as a free package. Leads are prospects that satisfy your criteria. They need your product or service. They have the budget to buy it and the right to expend the budget and get the purchase. A prospect turns into a lead when you have recognized a potential need. The more urgent the need, the more hot the lead.

What is a Lead Nurturing ?

The process of building relationships with the prospects(customers) with the goal of earning their business when they are ready. This process will increase the trust for your business and the trust on “YOU”.

Lead nurturing is the process of continuously contacting the potential buyer to update information and to improve the knowledge of the customer throughout the buying process. All lead information tends to change or become obsolete as time passes.

To keep the information up to date, the Lead Manager needs to continuously contact the leads to update the information.

After generating the Leads, it is very important to gain their confidence, by providing continuous service, that has been done through service centre in earlier days. Now a days that also has taken different form and ways with digital media and informations.
